Weetabix Case Study
Through three wholesalers, Weetabix ran a promotion to retailers based on a text-to-win mechanic, in order to increase sales across a variety of products.
To enter the prize draw, eligible retailers, typically convenience store managers, purchased specified quantities of Weetabix products and sent their invoice details via text. The main prizes were three Ford Courier vans (one per wholesaler), plus runners-up prizes of Weetabix products.
Prizeology negotiated to buy the vans from Ford at a reduced price and arranged for the design of branded imagery. We built the text-to-win entry system, drafted the terms and conditions, randomly selected the winners, and then verified that the winners had met the terms and conditions and were suitable recipients of the prizes. We then arranged for the vans to be delivered to the winners.
