Winner lists may be a bit of a bore, but under the CAP Code, the UK rule book for non-broadcast marketing communications, winners’ names and counties must be made publicly available. There’s only one exception to that – can you guess who? Answers on a postcard please.
Winner lists can certainly be easy to ignore, but there’s a timeframe, you need to be mindful of data protection and there are several other stipulations. In fact, you should think about how you’re going to publish you winner lists when you’re drawing up your terms and conditions.
