These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials relating to the Prize Promotion. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions.


RB UK Commercial Limited (the ‘Promoter’), of Wellcroft House, Wellcroft Road, Slough, Berkshire SL1 4AQ, is a company registered in England & Wales under company number 08784077.


2.1. This promotion is open to GB (England, Wales, Scotland) residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of The Promoter, associated agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the draw, and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” family living in the same household).

2.2. In entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.


3.1. The prize promotion opens at 00:01 on 1st June 2020 (the “Opening Date”) and closes at 23:59 on 31st August 2020 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date.

4.1. Participants must have a mobile phone able to send and receive messages to/from 5-digit short codes. Messages charged at service provider’s standard network rate. Texts may not be included in any text inclusive packages. Users on virtual mobile networks may not be able to text the short code. Please check with your network provider. Text lines are open 24 hours until 23:59 on the Closing Date. Ask the bill payer before texting. If you text after the Closing Date, you will not be entered but you will be charged. Take care when entering the text code; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes and you may be charged at a higher rate. 4.2. Entry is by text only. Maximum one entry per person (1 text & 1 receipt = 1 entry). For the avoidance of doubt, only one mobile phone number will be accepted per person, and a person can use this mobile phone number to enter a maximum of once. Any entrant or household using multiple mobile phone numbers to access the promotion will be disqualified and any prize will be void.

4.3. Entry will be confirmed with a ‘Thank You’ message response. There is no charge to the participant for this message.

4.4. This prize promotion may appear across different media channels, but there is one prize pool only (one prize of a £1,000 Lifestyle Voucher).

4.5. Participants should retain the till receipt as it will be required for proof of purchase in the event of a prize win.


5.1. There is 1 winner. The winner will be independently drawn using a random number generator within 7 days of the Closing Date. No RB employee is involved in the actual selection process.


6.1. There is 1 prize of a £1,000 Lifestyle Voucher, which can be exchanged against a £1,000 voucher for 1 of over 120 brands in the UK (including retailers, cinemas, holidays, and dining venues). Voucher must be registered at thelifestylevoucher.co.uk to swap against a retailer-specific voucher, and is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. 6.2. Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.


7.1. The winner will be notified by text within 7 days of the Closing Date and will be required to provide proof of purchase. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they respond to the winner notification, either by calling the freephone number or emailing the address provided at the point of notification. If the winner does not respond within the initial 7 days, they will be telephoned or texted again and given a further 7 days to respond. If contact cannot be made, or the prize is not claimed, within 14 days of the initial prize notification date an alternative winner will be drawn. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

7.2. We reserve the right to verify the winner and ask for proof of purchase, identity, age and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

7.3. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take their prize.


8.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.


9.1. Participant’s personal data submitted in connection with the Prize Promotion will be processed by the Promoter and Prizeology Limited for the purpose of administering and managing the Prize Promotion, distributing the prize and verifying the eligibility of participants/winner and as detailed in clauses 7.2. Data processed by the Promoter will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy: https://www.rb.com/privacy-policy/ By entering the Prize Promotion, participants consent to their personal data being processed in this way.

9.2. The Promoter is committed to protecting the data privacy rights of all entrants and the prize winner, in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Promoter confirms that any personal data in connection with an entrant (and the prize winner) participating in the competition, will only be collected, saved or processed for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion. After the prize winner has been selected, the Promoter may request that the prize winner participates in publicity or promotional events (“Post Winning Publicity”) organised by the Promoter. For clarity, the Promoter shall only request the prize winner’s potential involvement in any Post Winning Publicity (including but not limited to announcing the details and identity of the prize winner) by (i) seeking the prize winner’s consent to do so only after the prize winner has been selected as a winner; and (ii) if the prize winner unconditionally, clearly and freely shares such consent with the Promoter to be involved in any Post Winning Publicity. For clarity, such consent may be freely withdrawn by the prize winner at any time.


10.1. Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

10.2. Instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

10.3. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

10.4. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.

10.5. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

10.6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to winner notification or prize. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies.

10.7. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the prize in order for their prize to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

10.8. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified.

10.9. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the surname and county of the prize winner will be made available to anyone who requests them by emailing Dettol@winnerslist.co.uk within 3 months of the Closing Date. Participants may request their surname and county are not published in the event they win by emailing DettolOptOut@winnerslist.co.uk before the Closing Date. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the surname and county of the prize winner to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

10.10. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

10.11. If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared by a court to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, this declaration shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other clause or provision within.

10.12. Should participants have any queries relating to this Promotion, they can send a request either by:

10.13. The application and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England. Parties will first and foremost try to resolve amicably any dispute and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.14. Any dispute relating to the Promotion must be sent by registered mail with return receipt to the Promoter within 1 month from the Closing Date with postmark serving as evidence.
